1st Prototype: CNC'd aluminum reciever 1/2's that would fit all of the A-5 internals and take all of the A-5 upgrades. Internal tollerance issues made it unworkable, forcing a redisign to fit the stock A-5 receiver halves INSIDE the B-5.

3rd Prototype: stronger material, it was a better design (more comfortable to hold), it had a lot of things going for it...it could even hold a tank on the front drop-forward mount.

Fourth prototype is field strippable without removing the B-5 shell! AND you can see from the picture that the Battery compartment is accessible from the back, with only two pins to remove...it makes it actually changable on the field!

5th protoype can now change the battery with a SINGLE push pin! you can quick strip the A-5 inside with TWO push pins!

The 6th prototype (Jeff's prototype) Which has on it: A-5 (polished internals), Proteam Starfire bolt, J&J ceramic barrell with UMS Apex adapter and Apex barrell end, Tippmann Low pressure kit, Female palmer stabilizer set up as a swivel (so he can switch hands), The B-5 mod with Rampage board, The Prototype B-5 Magnetic double trigger, Opsgear 6" weaver rail (on top), 2" weaver rail on each side, Specops 3" shorty weaver rail on the bottom, 98 Custom Pro E grips, QEV, and the Vortex mod for the Cyclone.

The 7th (and final) prototype: It has: A-5, Low pressure kit with palmer stabilizer, standard A-5 ASA on the back, standard A-5 foregrip mounted to front, and 98 Custom grips.
